The Statistical Center of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC-Stat) held the third meeting for the price statistics and short term indicators working group via video conferencing aiming to develop and improve the quality of these indicators in the GCC countries.

The training course on the design and methods of Labour Force Surveys in the GCC countries was launched on Sunday the 27th of March in Doha. The course is organized by the GCC-Stat in collaboration with the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS) in Qatar.

Sunday the 10th of April, the Statistical Center of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC-Stat), in collaboration with the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA), organized a regional workshop on the data basket of the 2020 administrative register-based census in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi  that lasted till Tuesday the 12th of April 2016.

Sunday (20th March 2016), the GCC-Stat, in collaboration with the General Authority for Statistics in Saudi Arabia, organized the second regional workshop for energy statistics. The workshop discussed energy final consumption surveys in the GCC countries for the industrial, transport, household, trade and service, and agricultural sectors and other related sectors.
