GCC-Stat Involved The 60th ISI World Statistics Congress

The 60th ISI World Statistics Congress (WSC) is taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, during 26–31 July 2015.

The WSC is the flagship conference of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and its seven associations. It is a biennial conference with a rich tradition, this year hosted and organized by Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) in Brazil.

The congress brings together members of the statistical community to present, discuss, promote and disseminate research and best practices in every field of statistics and its applications. The Scientific Programme of the ISI2015 includes a wealth of activities covering stimulating topics and offering  delegates innovative and balanced presentations, as well as plenty of opportunities for discussion and exchange.
 An exhibition presenting the achievements of countries in the field of statistical work is held on the sidelines of the conference.
The GCC-Stat participates in the conference with a delegation headed by His Excellency the Director General Mr. Sabir bin Said Al Harbi.
