This classification is the international reference rating for productive activities. Its main purpose is to provide a range of categories of activities that can be used to collect Statistics. It is widely used at both the national and international levels to disaggregate data by type of economic activity in the areas of economic and social statistics such as statistics, national and demographic accounts, projects, employment, etc.
